One way to get to bond with your child again is by watching these teens’ shows with them. Netflix has a lot of great teen-oriented movies that even you can also enjoy. On Netflix, it seems like there is always a TV show for everybody so it doesn’t matter if your teen loves family drama, science fiction, fantasy, etc., you’ll surely find a Netflix show they’ll enjoy. The shows you’ll find are the types that are great for family nights where all you’ll need is some popcorn, a drink you love (probably a lemonade) and a photo lap tray that you’ll use to place all the things you’ll be eating throughout the show.

This TV show focuses on the life of teen astrophysicist Ashley Garcia (Paulina Chávez) who moved in to stay with her uncle Victor (Jencarlos Canela) and how she tries to live a normal life while also trying to reconnect with her childhood best friend.
The 100
The 100 is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama that is set 97 years after a nuclear war nearly wiped out all the life on Earth. The people who survived that nuclear war had now found a new type of life, surviving in a space station that orbits the Earth, wishing to one day return to Earth. When their resources and oxygen level started diminishing, the leadership of the ship had no choice but to send 100 juvenile prisoners to Earth to determine if the planet is now habitable.
Atypical
Atypical is the story of an 18-year-old Sam (Keir Gilchrist) with autism and his family. In the second season, this hilarious comedy follows Sam as he looks for a new therapist while coping with his family apart.
Outer Banks
Outer Banks is a TV show that explores the lives of a certain set of kids known as Kooks (the rich kids) and Pogues (the poor kids) along with the North Carolina coastal islands.
The kids in the show try to live their best lives, they often drink and hook up sometimes but for most of the story, they will be searching for golf that has been rumored to be lost in an ancient shipwreck. In this TV show, you’ll find mystery, missing parents, young love, etc.
The Baby-Sitters Club
The show follows the adventures and friendship of five middle-schoolers and the homegrown babysitting business. The plot was based on the children’s novel series of the same name written by Ann M. Martin.
Dive Club
This is an Australian teen drama that follows the lives of a fiesta group of teen divers who try to find their best friend who went missing after a storm hit their small coastal town (Cape Mercy).
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Everything changed for Prince Adam after he found a Power Sword that was capable of transforming him into the He-Man. Together with his best friend Krass’tine, Cringer, Teela, and Duncan, they work together in order to fight the forces of Keldor (his wicked uncle who was responsible for the separation between King Randor and Prince Adam).

This show was set in a fictional medieval world where a youth goes on an adventure to search for a letter and ends up discovering his own persona.

This franchise centers around the fictional thriving villain who goes by the same name and is the ringleader of a criminal organization (V.I.L.E). The protagonist of this animation are the agents of the ACME Detective Agency who find ways to foil the plans of the organization to steal treasures from all over the world.

This is an American comedy television series that follows Noah Ferris, an 11-year-old boy with social anxiety disorder and was able to manage it with the help of Dude. The dude is a scruffy emotional support dog.

Alexa (Paris Berelc) & Katie (Isabel May) is an American sitcom series that follows a high schooler suffering from cancer and her best friend Katie.

This is an American streaming television series by Dreamworld Animations and MGA Entertainment. The series was set in the fictional town of Maywood Glen, in California. The series revolves around the fields of STEM and it follows the adventures of McKeyla McAlister and her best friends as they work for a secretive group of female government operatives (NOV8) who try to save the world.

A series of unfortunate events is a series that follows the lives of thirteen children known as the Baudelaire orphans, the trials, tribulations, and the evil Count Olaf they face in their quest to unlock their family secrets.

The series follows the life of a young orphan (Anne) who seeks acceptance, love and her place in the world. Anne is a 13-year-old who has endured an abusive childhood in the homes of strangers and orphanages.

This is an American sitcom streaming series starring stars like Big Show, Reylynn, Lily Brooks O’Briant, Allison Munn, and Juliet Donenfeld.
The show depicts Big Show as a fictional version of himself. In the show, Big Show discovers that raising three daughters and a wife in Florida is a tough challenge.

This is a tween drama series released by Netflix. After losing their mom, teen siblings Alex and Hayley enter an elite boarding school where they have to deal with things like romance, rivalry, and mystery.

This is an Australian mockumentary children’s television series about four smart school children who decided to start their own detective agency and vlog to show all their adventures.

The New Legends of Monkey
This is an Australian-New Zealand television series that was inspired by Monkey – A Japanese production from the 70s to the 80s. The series follows a valiant girl who went in search of the seven sacred scrolls in order to save the world from evil and in that process she liberates the Monkey King who was trapped in a stone.
Final Words
In this series, three teens wake up in a strange realm, unlike the ones they were used to. The realm was filled with vicious beasts and portals. The three have no other choice than to join forces if they are to make it out of that realm.
